NWTF Charity Bass Fishing Tournament Seeking Teams
The Grand River Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will host their “Strut Your Stuff” Charity Bass Tournament on August 18th on Jordan Lake.
The cost is $60 per two-man team, and the winner will be calculated by a five fish weigh in. The event will kick off with a meeting at 6:00 AM, and fishing will occur 6:30 AM through 1:00 PM.
There will also be an optional big bass pot for $5 per team with 100% payback to the winner.

Proceeds from the year’s event will benefit Manna’s Market in Lake Odessa. According to their website, https://www.mannasmarket.org, Manna’s Market is “a nondenominational, faith inspired, non-profit Michigan corporation serving the entire County of Barry and the communities of the Lakewood School District including Vermontville and Mulliken in Eaton County, by extending a helping hand and providing food, clothing and baby pantry items for those facing dire circumstances beyond their control.”
The National Wild Turkey Federation, or NWTF, was founded in 1973 and is a national organization focused on promoting wild turkey populations and conservation efforts. The Grand River Longbeards Chapter is the local chapter service Ionia and Portland.
