Primary Election August 7th
Unless you have been unplugged from radio, TV and social media in the last several weeks, you have probably already heard that the state primary election is this coming Tuesday, August 7th.
Yesterday, we posted a piece by Beacon contributor Robert Lathers which took an in-depth look at the County Road Millage that will appear on the ballot. You can find that piece by clicking HERE.
The primary ballot also includes party primary candidates for some state and federal positions.
If you would like to get an advanced look at all the items that will appear on your primary ballot on Tuesday, you can get an advanced look at the Secretary of State’s “Michigan Voter Information Center” which can be found at https://webapps.sos.state.mi.us/MVIC/SelectPublicBallot.aspx.
Once you select your county, jurisdiction (municipality) and precinct, you will get a detailed look at all items on your ballot. Please note that as of Saturday morning this site was experiencing some errors. If you get an error message, please try again later.
Polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
