Courtney Pohl Named PHS Raider of the Week

Portland High School is pleased to announce this week’s recipient of the “Raider of the Week” award:

Name: Courtney Pohl

Grade: 12

Parents: Robert and Jackie Pohl

Activities: Courtney has participated with the Raider Cross Country team, drama club, marching band, and concert band throughout high school. She is a member of the PHS National Honor Society and Student Council. She also volunteers her time as a faith formation teacher at St. Patrick’s Church.

Post-High School Plans: After graduating from high school, Courtney plans to attend Central Michigan University to major in elementary education and minor in leadership.

Award: In recognition of being selected as “Raider of the Week” at Portland High School, Courtney is awarded one 9”/1-item pizza from The Pizza Shop courtesy of Dawn and Tom Hodge and will receive a plaque from S&K Trophies courtesy of Lynn and Dan Babbitt.
