Former Shamrock Chloe Cross Named All-Conference at Franciscan University

Chloe Cross, a 2018 St. Patrick’s graduate and current catcher for the Franciscan University softball team, has been named 2019 AMCC Softball All-Conference third team catcher.

Cross finished her freshman season with a .297 batting average, 30 hits, one home run, and a .993 fielding percentage.

The Barons ended their record setting season on Wednesday with a 7-0 loss to Pfeiffer in the ECAC Tournament. Cross had a double in that game. The Lady Barons finished their season with a 24-15 record.

Founded in 1946, Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio) is a Catholic University with a Fall 2017 enrollment of 2,929. The Barons compete in NCAA Division III athletics and are a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
