Professional Baseball Player Andrew Click to Host Youth Camp October 13th
There is a great opportunity for boys in the community to learn some new baseball skills! A baseball camp will be conducted by professional baseball player Andrew Click. Click, a 2014 PHS graduate, recently completed his 2nd year of professional baseball playing this summer in Alpine, Texas and Napa, California; as a closer for both teams Click compiled a 5-0 record and had 10 Saves. He was named to the PECOS League All-Star Team and his Alpine Team won the PECOS League Championship. Click attended Davenport University on a baseball scholarship and was named First Team All-GLIAC starting pitcher. At Davenport Click compiled a 13-3 record and had 130 strikeouts. He is listed in the top 10 of numerous pitching records at Davenport.
Click is offering kids in the area a pro style camp Sunday, October 13, at the PHS baseball field. The camp is focused on pitching, hitting, fielding, goal setting & preparing for college baseball. Learn tips & skills to prepare for the next level. Work out like the pros do! The end of camp has a College / Pro Showcase. You will receive showcase numbers & results. Reserve your spot today!
Sunday, October 13th at Portland High School baseball field.
There are two sessions:
- Session #1 Boys 9-13 years old, 9am to noon for $30.
- Session #2 Boys 14-18 years old, 1pm to 4pm for $35.
