Portland City Council Approves $15,338 for New Welcome to Portland Sign
The City of Portland has been upgrading its signage throughout the community in the past few years including at City Parks and at entrances to the city. The newest sign will soon be constructed on East Grand River Ave near the Independent Bank and Arby's entrance. It will replace the current sign at the same location.
The new sign will cost $15,338 and has been designed by Valley City Sign of Comstock Park. Portland City Council approved the purchase at its meeting last Monday night. The Sign has been designed to be internally illuminated and visible at night and should be in place within the next several weeks.
