Annual Military Appreciation Game set for October 6th

On Friday October 6th, Portland High School will be hosting Charlotte High School for a White Division match up in varsity football at 7:00 pm. This will be the annual Military Appreciation game and will feature several different military vehicles on display and recruiters will be in attendance. All military personnel will get free entrance into the game and will also get a free meal in the food tent which will feature Maria’s tacos. Each player will be playing in honor of a veteran or current military member and these names will be announced before kickoff. All proceeds from this event will go to the Portland and Charlotte VFW posts. Please plan to attend this great community event and what should be a good football game!
