Clinton County to conduct Comprehensive Plan Amendment around proposed “Eagle Mega Site”

The Clinton County Office of Planning & Zoning is conducting a comprehensive plan amendment study on a possible large-scale development in southeast Eagle Township. According to the office, “Owners of a large area in Eagle Township may ask to develop their land for manufacturing and technology uses.”

The public is invited to attend an Open House on March 2nd anytime from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Eagle Park’s Reception Hall

According to WILX (https://www.wilx.com/2023/01/24/eagle-township-prepping-land-mega-factory/), “Just south of I-96 in Eagle township, 1,400 acres of farmland are being prepped for a large factory.”

Area residents against the possible development have started a Facebook group named “Stop the Mega Site, Eagle MI”.
