Historical Society to focus on Postcards at May 23rd meeting

Postcards will be the subject of the May 23, meeting of the Portland Area Historical Society. Collectors and anyone interested in learning about old or new postcards is invited to the 6:30 meeting at 144 Kent Street. Walter Jung, a well-known Lansing area collector, will be the speaker. Wally has a degree in photography from Lansing Community College and a B.A. in American Studies from Michigan State. He has been collecting postcards for over thirty years; is a nationally known postcard show promoter and dealer participating in over 30 shows annually. He currently serves as vice-president of the International Federation of Postcard Dealers. Everyone is welcome to attend. Attendance is free, but donations are always welcome.
