Kent Street Re-Opening Celebration set for Wednesday, October 16th

You are invited to join local businesses on Wednesday, October 16th, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 PM at Scout Park to celebrate the re-opening of Kent Street.

There are a few components to get lined up for the whole street to re-open. Mainly the painting of the parking spaces and the center line. Trees are planned to go in too, hopeful y before the sixteenth. Next spring, the Portland Garden Club (who always does a beautiful job—those zenia’s this year were fantastic!) will work with our contractors to plan perennials (and annuals) for the new beds at Kent & Bridge. We’ll also have planters going in along the street for added beauty and interest. MiPortland DDA and the City are grateful to businesses, citizens, & workers, for their courtesy and patience throughout.
