Local Ducks Unlimited Chapter wins state award

Members and volunteers from the Portland/Eagle Ducks Unlimited Chapter, attended the Annual Volunteers appreciation banquet in Hastings, MI on January 8, 2024.

During the Banquet, The Portland/ Eagle Chapter won the Bronze Award.

Banquet State Excellence Awards are based on growth versus the prior fiscal year in three categories: volunteers, event attendance and event income. Using growth in event income as a base qualifier, a Bronze Award is given for growth over the prior year in one category. 

"We couldn't do it without the attendees that come and participate in our annual event, and we definitely couldn't do it without all of the volunteers that help plan the event throughout the year", said Brady Frewen.

The local, Portland/Eagle Chapter will be hosting its annual Ducks Unlimited Banquet at the Eagle Park hall on Saturday March 2, 2024
