Obituary for Adalynn Ann Hinds

Our brave and sweet daughter, Adalynn Ann Hinds was born on April 24, 2010 in Lansing, MI and left us too soon on January 3rd of 2023 in Ithaca, MI at 12 years old. Addy was fiercely loved by her surviving family members. Her mother, Rachael Wakley, her stepfather, Taggart Wakley, and her siblings, Logan Hinds, Riley Hinds, Hannah Wakley, and Emma Wakley. Her grandparents, Jim and LeeAnn Winter, Dawn Hinds (Terry Martin), Marijo Wakley (Keith Roberts), Dennis and Lynell Wakley as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Addy was preceded in death by her father, Randy Hinds II.

Addy was fearless from birth, strong, smart, and funny. She had a special connection with animals, loved spending time with her beloved siblings, she was extremely competitive playing softball, and she treasured spending time with her friends. She loved wrestling, bantering back and forth with her brothers and cuddling on the couch with her sisters and her dogs, Greta and Murphy. Addy was a child that colored outside the lines, she made her own rules, and she was a natural born leader.

“Loving you changed my life. It should come as no surprise that losing you has done the same” -Chloe Frayne
