Obituary for Carroll Ann (Baker) Green

Carroll (Granny) Ann Green, age 77, of Lyons, passed away peacefully at home next to her husband and best friend of 59 years, Paul, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 23, 1946, the daughter of John and Alice Baker. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother to Kimberly, Paul and Royal and the world’s best granny to Ember, Cole and Keely. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Chuck. She loved spending time with her family, spoiling her grandkids, genealogy, and going on many boat, motorcycle and side by side trips. Her most favorite place of all was at home, sitting on the porch next to gramps, drinking coffee and watching the birds. Her sweet smile, laugh, hugs and cookies were second to none. To know Granny was to love her. She will be deeply missed and our lives forever changed, but our hearts full with her love. She leaves the world a much better place than she entered it.
