Kelly Lovell passed peacefully on April 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Kelly was a proud and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving son, Mike, his wife Laura, and their children Jayden, Aubriana, and James, who brought endless joy and pride to her life. She is also survived by her sister, Lori, Lori’s children, Amie, George and Jimmy; her brother, Kevin, his wife Sandy, and their children, Tyler, Mitch, his wife, Josie and their son, Luke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kendall Lovell and Joann (Adamson) Lovell, and her nephew, Steve Mulligan.
Kelly lived a life marked by dedication, strength, and compassion. A hard worker in every aspect of her life, she poured her heart into everything she did. After a long and successful career in the Michigan Army National Guard, she embraced retirement with a sense of adventure, traveling the world and living out her lifelong love for exploration and music—attending several camps with one of her favorite bands.
To those lucky enough to be part of her world, Kelly was fiercely loyal and endlessly loving. She cherished time with family above all else, especially the Lovell family gatherings that brought everyone together. Her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren were her heart, and she never missed a moment to show how proud she was of them.
Kelly found peace and happiness in nature. She loved working in her garden, taking on home and yard projects, biking, going on long walks, and simply basking in the sun. Her strength, warmth, and radiant spirit will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Kelly faced her final chapter with the same fierce spirit and determination that defined her life. Despite a brave fight against an unexpected and undiagnosed cancer, she passed peacefully, surrounded by love.
