Obituary for Patricia J. (Cranson) Temcoff
Patricia J. (Cranson) Temcoff, born on March 17, 1930, in Portland, Michigan, peacefully passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 93. She was the cherished daughter of Sylvester and Viola (Blough) Wohlscheid. Patricia was not only a devoted mother but was described by her children as the "best mom ever." Her vibrant spirit and infectious joy made her a source of laughter and happiness for all who were fortunate enough to be in her company. Patricia had a warm smile and a comforting hug for everyone she met, making her a true beacon of love and positivity. Her passion for creativity shone through in her hobbies; Patricia enjoyed painting, working on ceramics, and solving puzzles. These activities reflected her artistic soul and keen mind, embodying the spirit of a woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures. Family was paramount to Patricia, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their well-being. Her love and devotion to her family knew no bounds, and her impact on their lives will forever be immeasurable. Patricia was a longtime member of the Church of Christ, where her faith provided her with strength and solace. She also actively contributed to her community as a proud member of the Portland VFW Post #4090 Ladies Auxiliary. Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Preceding Patricia in death are her parents; first husband, Bryce Cranson; grandsons, Jesse Rohdy, Eric Houghtalin, and Lonny Cranson; siblings, John Wohlscheid, Joanne Howard, and Ruth Newton. Surviving are her loving husband of 11 years, Christie Temcoff; children, Barbara (James) Sleight, Edward (Carolyn) Cranson, Mary (Cliff Hengesbach) Riddle, and Vicki Cranson; step-sons, Terry (Suzie) Tast and Tracy (Deborah) Temcoff; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Larry (Phyllis) Wohlscheid.
A visitation celebrating Patricia’s life will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.
