Obituary for Richard "Dick" F. Hill

Richard “Dick” Francis Hill age 85 of Lenox, MI died June 29, 2023 surrounded by his family. Richard was born on May 21,1938, to Leslie and Caroline (White) Hill in Troy, Michigan. He was the beloved husband of Gail (Thelen) Hill for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wayne Hill. In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his children, Robert (Marcie) Hill, Carol (Rick) McDonald, Chris (Patti) Hill, Michael and Dottie Furman. Grandchildren Michael, Tim, Kylie (Michael), Glenn, Caroline (Mike), Nicole (Jack), Isabella, Damian, Chase (Madison). Great-Grandchildren Ella, Clara, Nevaeh and another arriving January 2024. His brother, Ken Hill, sister, Gin Redinger and his furry companions, Scooter and Sadie. He proudly owned and operated Hill Transport Inc. for 30 years. His company wasn't just a Trucking Company, it was his heart, soul and passion. He enjoyed retreating to the cabin with his family to fish and ride his golf cart around taking in nature (without his phone). The family will receive friend 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. Burial will follow at Portland Cemetery.
