Obituary for Twana Gail Dies

Twana Gail Dies, of Portland, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the age of 71. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was born on June 25, 1951 in Lansing, Michigan. Twana enjoyed caring for animals, going to thrift stores, and driving her mustang. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Preceding Twana in death are her parents, Lewis Ingraham and Betty Carpenter and daughter, Amy Jo Dies. Surviving are her loving husband of 52 years, Thomas Dies; sons, Jason (Leanda) Dies and Jarrett (Shelly) Dies; grandchildren, Makayla (Max), Griffin, Axl, Dakota, Stormy, Memphis, and Phoenix; great-grandson, Sabastin; siblings, John (Cheryl) Jorgensen, Kevin Ingram, Jeanette Wilson, and Tim (Beth) Ingraham; in-laws, Susan John and Lori (James) Dies; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Steve Burkhart at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
