Portland Soccer ended regular season play with a win over Charlotte in CAAC Copper Cup Finals

The Raiders jumped on the board in the first half with a goal from freshman Lauren Spitzley. Charlotte was able to tie the game before half. The game remained tied 1-1 at the end of regulation and went right to penalty kicks. The Raiders won in PKs 3-2 to secure the win. Girls Soccer ends the regular season 9-8 (3-1 in the CAAC White Division) and will start district playoff play 24 May away against Lakewood. The following players lead the team in goals: Raina Spitzley 12 goals, Malia Thelen 8 goals, Ella Gruber 6 goals, Lauren Spitzley 4 goals and Lexie Huhn 3 goals. Norah Wagner has 5 shut outs in goal for the season.
