Portland Soccer tops Lansing Catholic in district opener
Portland Boys Soccer extended their season with a big 4-1 win over Lansing Catholic during their first round of District play. The Raiders got off to slow start in the first half. Trailing 0-1 they were able to tie up the game before half with a goal by Sophomore Sawyer Dakin. In the second half the heat was turned on with three goals by Senior Captain Aiden Pulling. The Raiders will continue play Monday 16 October against Williamston.
Boys Soccer ended regular season play with a 9-7-3 record. They finished with a 5-2 record in the CAAC White Division only trailing Eaton Rapids and Lakewood.
