Raider Football rolls over Eaton Rapids

On Friday night, the Portland High School football team traveled to Eaton Rapids for a CAAC White league match up. The Raiders rolled to a 55-6 victory, improving to 6-0 overall, 5-0 in conference play.

The Raider offense tallied 305 yards rushing and 73 yards passing.

Barrett Brennan led the Raiders with three touchdowns and 70 yards rushing. Caden Thelen ran for 60 yards and two touchdowns.

The Portland defense help the Greyhounds to only 104 total yards.

AJ Weber led the Portland defense with four tackles. Kaleb Bower, Kayden Dickerson, Jacob Farley, and Mark Meyers each had three tackles.

Up next the Raiders will host the Orioles of Charlotte as part of Military Appreciation Night at PHS. Charlotte is currently 5-1 overall, 4-1 in the CAAC White with their only loss coming to Sexton in week four.
