Raiders top Eaton Rapids for Homecoming 2024 win

The Portland High School football team hosted the Eaton Rapids Greyhounds on Friday night for Portland’s 2024 homecoming. In front of a very large crowd, the Raiders secured a 64-0 victory.

The Raiders combined for 250 yards of total offense while holding Eaton Rapids to just 22 yards.

Junior running back Kayden Dickerson led the Raider rushing attack with 79 yards on two carries with two touchdowns.

Junior Brady Rowe returned a punt 50 yards for a Portland touchdown.

The Raider defense also scored points in the game. Senior Christopher Battley recovered a fumble for a touchdown, and junior Nolan Zbytowski had an interception return for a touchdown.

The Raiders will travel to Charlotte on Friday for the annual military appreciation night that both teams have participated in for a few years now.
