Rep. Johnsen invites area residents to local hours during the month of February
State Rep. Gina Johnsen will host office hours in Portland, Lowell, Lake Odessa and Ionia this month to meet with local residents.
Local office hours are an opportunity for 78th House District constituents to meet informally with Rep. Johnsen to share their thoughts, questions and concerns. No appointments are necessary.
The meetings take place at the following times and locations:
· Feb. 4, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at Riversedge Bar & Grill, 160 Kent St., Portland;
· Feb. 6, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at The Old Theater in Lowell, 315 W. Main St.;
· Feb. 25, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at Meyers’ Hometown Bakery & Beanery, 1003 4th Ave., Lake Odessa; and
· Feb. 27, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at El Mariachi Mexican Grill, 412 W. Main St., Ionia.
“My goal is to be open and accessible to local residents, and that’s why it’s so important to hold several office hours events at convenient locations throughout the district,” said Johnsen, R-Lake Odessa. “I’m excited to meet with constituents and encourage people to stop by any of these locations to get their voices heard.”
The 78th District covers portions of Ionia, Kent, Eaton and Barry counties.
