Shamrock Cross Country finishes 3rd in St. Johns

Portland St. Patrick cross country team had a very successful event at the Apples2apples invitational at Uncle Johns Cider Mill Thursday 10/6/22.

The boys team finished 3rd out of 16 teams. TJ Chamberlain finished in 8th place, earning a medal and a PR by 16 seconds, Martin White finished in 10th place earning a medal and PR by 15 seconds, Isaac FoxElster finished in 21st lace earning a medal and PR by 8 seconds, Francis Austin and Nick Pung finished the scoring for the boys team, both setting PR's, They were followed by Ben White who had a PR and Will Chislea. The wind and a drenching rain met the girls for their race. The girls team also finished 3rd out of 16 teams. Laynie Meredith finished in 7th place earning a medal, Cozie Brown finished in 10th place earning a medal and a season best time by 38 seconds, Izzy Kissane finished in 22nd place earning a medal, Olivia Pung scored 4th for the team, Marian Davlin scored 5th for the team and earned a PR. Siena Schafer earned a PR, Emma Honsowitz earned a PR by 1 minute and Emma Martin earned a PR.
