Coaches Comments:
The girls absolutely showed up on offense tonight. They had one strikeout on the entire night and made solid connection each at bat. We couldn’t be more proud of that effort. We are currently suffering from injuries and those injuries are compounding into weak areas of defense that increase our margin of errors. These girls used grit and determination to battle each and every inning. Game 1 we were dominate and smooth defensively. Game 2 we moved people defensively and we had to rise above Dansville’s bats. To put up 18 runs and not take the win was a tough reality.

Shamrocks were led at the plate by Natalee Teachworth who went 6 for 7 with 2 doubles and an RBI, Jamelyn Forist went 4 for 6 with a triple, a double and 2 RBIs. Coaches Comments:
Our program always looks forward to this weekend tournament. It’s a fabulous atmosphere with beautiful scenery and fun competition. It’s a special weekend to share with our baseball program and when we can both take home a championship it really sweetens the deal! We look forward to supporting the benefit’s cause at the Kris Popp tournament and were even able to fundraise this year. We purchased pink team shirts and we had pink accessories donated by Karen Scheurer. As always, we thank our team families for taking time to attend this weekend up north and hope to continue the tradition next year.
