In game two, the Shamrocks had their bats ready to go and came away with a 16-0 win in three innings.

Once again, Rylee Scheruer led the way with two hits, a double and three RBIs. Gracelyn Rockey was 3 for 4 with three RBIs, Mattie Honsowitz was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs and Addie Scheurer and Emma Honsowitz each had two hits and an RBI.

Tori Sandborn had a phenomenal night pitching the shutout with 3 strikeouts and only allowed 2 hits.

The St. Patrick’s softball team continued with league play Thursday against Potterville and took away 2 wins.

The Shamrocks won the first game in 3 innings 21-0. They worked together to get a total of 12 hits spread out amongst the team. Tori Sandborn got the win pitching, improving her record to 3-0. She held Potterville to one hit and had six strikeouts on the night.

In game two, the Shamrocks again came away with the 18-0 win in three innings. The bats were still hot and the team had a total of 15 hits. Mattie Honsowitz got the win with four total strikeouts and recorded a no hitter for the night.

The defense was flawless with zero errors for both games and had some spectacular plays in the field.

Next week, league play continues with a hard match-up versus Laingsburg at home on Monday. We are hoping we can get record number crowds as it’s a “Raise the Net” fundraiser night, and we would like to encourage all youth softball players to join to watch the action! Maria's Tacos will be onsite, so join us for an evening of ball, great food, and a great cause!
