Homebrew Tabletop Game Lounge, 219 1/2 N. Bridge St. Grand Ledge, MI, is celebrating its second anniversary with a shootout. April 10 starting at 6:30 PM Homebrew will be hosting a BANG! tournament with table winners receiving a copy of the game while the tournament winner will receive a BANG! dynamite box. Cost to participate is $5 per person. Persons wishing to participate can reserve a spot via this link, https://forms.gle/4CSLLArNdyuqUJSR8. For more information call 517.775.4246 or email info@homebrewgamelounge.com.
BANG! was one of the first secret role games when created over twenty years ago. Players are dealt an old west gunfighter and a role. The roles available to players are: sheriff, deputy, renegade or outlaw, and each has a different win condition for the round. In tournament play the winners at each table will then advance to a final round table with the point value of their previous win and the winner of the tournament, as determined by total points, will receive the dynamite box.
"We can't wait to celebrate our anniversary with our friends and guests," says Homebrew co-owner Jeff Croff. "Last year we had a barroom brawl playing Red Dragon Inn and this year we will be celebrating with a shootout via BANG! We are so grateful to our guests that have made two years possible and can't wait to laugh and play with them."
Homebrew Tabletop Game Lounge opened its doors April 11, 2023. It offers nearly 600 games in its rental library, which guests can play while visiting. In addition to the library, Homebrew also offers board games for sale. With a name like Homebrew, they've also focused on Michigan-made products, including beers, ciders, pops, spirits and snacks. It was founded by co-owners Sadonna Croff and Jeff Croff as a place where folks could come together; relax and laugh with friends, family or "soon to be" friends. Whether guests are gaming or just relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea on the couch, they are always welcome.
