Volley On The Grand kicks off July 15th
The 2nd annual Volley On The Grand grass volleyball tournament will start at the Bogue Flats recreation area in Portland at 8:00 on Saturday, July 15th. Organizers dub the event as a High School volleyball fundraiser.
The format is a 4 on 4 competition with a maximum of five players per team.
Divisions include:
Men's and Women's Division
- Intermediate
- Competitive
Girls Division
- 14 and under
- 16 and under
- 18 and under
Boys Division -
- 16 and under
- 18 and under
Location: Bogue Flats Recreational Area, Portland, MI
FOOD & DRINKS
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Food trucks will be placed on site.
GENERAL ADMISSION
General Admission is free.
PETS
No pets are allowed near courts for the safety of all players and spectators.
FINALS:
1st and 2nd place awards/prizes
Cash prize for 1st and 2nd place in Men's and Women's Open Division
Fundraiser:
We are fundraising for Portland Area Schools volleyball programs and offering cash donations to programs willing to volunteer.
We are excited and grateful to be able to work hand in hand with the Portland Community Food Bank in hopes of helping to bring some relief to those in need.
We ask that, if you are able, please donate a dry or canned good needed from the list below:
Cereal, pancake mix, syrup, pasta, soups, canned fruit, cake mixes, and spaghetti sauce.
Spread the Word! Everyone is welcome to donate, please don’t be shy. Come down and help support the mission of the Portland Community Food Bank on July 15 all day.
A donation bin will be available at the event.
